When I was going to Lithuania my friends and acquaintances told me: "don't do it!" But I have gone and have not regretted it! Everything that I have seen considerably differs from the usual American standards. But I have rarely met such sincere and lovely people! And what inexpensive travel!

We were struck with unusually tasty Lithuanian cookery! The hospitable people, beautiful nature and magnificent architecture of Vilnius will stay in our memory forever. It was the best our family travel for last 5 years! Our new friends were so kind and magnificent and we continue to communicate with them till now.

I arrived in Lithuania during the winter and was very much afraid, that I'd be cold. But I had such a warm reception that I had forgotten about the cold! Though I was there only four days, each day was filled with exciting discoveries for me. The first pleasant surprise was the unusual Medieval architecture, second - extremely tasty and qualitative Lithuanian products. I tried for the first time fresh free range eggs. At last, I have understood the expression "to drink as Russian" actually means! All this was pleasant to me so, that I returned to Lithuania again the following month.

Meeting with the Russian people and Russian woman have shaken me up to depth of soul. These people, as splinters of an old civilization, keep in themselves any riddle and secret. They have their own way! In a combination to wonderful foods and with a beautiful nature it impresses as a grandiose juicy chord of the symphony of life!

We have arrived in Vilnius and already at the airport have understood, that Lithuania is not the wild country, as we thought earlier. Certainly, it still lags behind in development the advanced European countries. But we have not felt it, because all five days of the stay have spent on a shashleek and in bath. If you knew, what tasty Lithuanian beer!!! It is not similar on any another!
